Let go and all suffering will cease.
The world will appear in its pristine, self-existing nature, and you will experience the freedom of the Buddha.
~ Jack Kornfield
Succinctly summed up, Buddhism is the letting go of all that has to potential to entrap you. It is the letting go of everything:
Let go and all suffering will cease. The world will appear in its pristine, self-existing nature, and you will experience the freedom of the Buddha. ~ Jack Kornfield
Meditation is a life changing practice that will assist you in finding the deepest contentment, a still place within where you can always reside. Developing a deep-grounded self-confidence is the upmost importance in the progression of your emerging practice; within this same practice an unshakeable inner peace will be cultivated within. Meditation imbibes the qualities of both strength and softness, and enriches compassion, grace and a 'wilderness of heart' in those who practice.
Heart break is inevitable for all of us at some point in our lives and through meditation we can often face our challenges and suffering, by seeing deeply into our situation with the eyes of love. In meditation, we seek the truth that lies within each of us - in this moment - which is all we ever have. Thus, we heal grief and mental disharmony by understanding the laws of cause and effect (our karma).
Meditation opens opportunities into understanding your internal mind, so too, who you are and how to overcome mental and physical obstacles. It develops within you a great spiritual power. These are only some of the profound and powerful effects meditation can have on your life.
The moment that we come to truly face the moment in which we live, we understand with deep insight that suffering is born of the mind. The mind that drifts us into the past and future is one that believes in an illusion. Our past and future is healed when we breathe into the body, the heart, compassionately attending to the moment with unshakeable inner peace and a liberation that knows no bounds.
The retreat is always in your mind.
