Meditation, Prayanama Retreat

Insight meditation: 2 hours sitting, eating and walking meditation

Pranayama: 30 mins

Theory of chakras and energetic anatomy in meditation practice: 30 mins

 

Joins us also for the Restorative Yoga Retreat: Chakras and Energetic Anatomybeforehand from. 9.30-12.30am

Throughout the day, come and learn how to care for your energetic, very subtle nature…

When we work on the chakras through meditation and yoga we work with three levels:

1. PHYSICAL: Asanas and Ayurvedic diet work on the outer chakra: the nerve plexus, the endocrine glands, and the three doshas (vata, pitta, kapha) associated with the chakra….

2. PSYCHOLOGICAL: Asanas, Ayurvedic diet, Pranayama Meditation all work on the imbalances in the inner chakra: the prana (5 pranas, vayus), tejas, ojas and the mind.

3. SPIRITUAL: Merging astral with causal body (the koshas). Did you know that chakras can only be opened with sustained spiritual practice in meditation, pratyahara, pranayama?
Pretty awesome.

Book early, as these restorative retreats are often very space limited.

Make a day of it and come to both….It will be lovely in the new studio. Welcome!

Cost
$60 for Morning Asana and Pranayama
$50 for Afternoon Meditation
$95 for an all day pass
* teachers trainers are able to attend as part of class hours
