Welcome back from the Easter break.
This will be a great 10 week term to learn about self-care, and to educate yourself deeply and in a more intuitive way about the traditions that have long stood the test of time: Yoga and Meditation.
YOGA
This term we will be focusing on energetic medicine. The chakras, the nadis (energy pathways) and the Marmas (health pressure points).
This is inviting you to explore your own awareness of the formless through the subtle body as detailed in the ancient wisdom of the Rishis (wise Indian sages).

MEDITATION
Meditation is a seriously awesome practice! The mind must be exercised. If left to roam widely, it will stray. You must really practice to be here now.
The synapses of your brain which cause stress, anxiety, anger and sadness need to be trained otherwise and atrophied, to see positive change and true well-being emerge. Create the pathways in your brain that allow for deep fulfillment, a simple way of being, and peace. This requires practice, patience and discipline. So Be happy! Meditate.
Fridays 9.45am-11.15am
Pose of choice: The splits! Hanumasana.
Do it every day for 6 weeks and you will be there.
What is the point you may ask?
So that you can do it when you are a granny/Gdaddy at your 101st bday party.
And it is great for your hamstrings, calves, your quads, your bladder meridian, your base chakra, and your party tricks. Lets do it this term beginning April 15th.
