Synthetic Happiness is a concept coined by scientist and Harvard Professor, Dan Gilbert.
Dan Gilbert believes that, in our ardent, lifelong pursuit of happiness, most of us have the wrong map. He argues that our brains systematically misjudge what will make us happy. In this engaging TED Talk he talks about how we are often very poor predictors of our own bliss. So what will make us happier in a year’s time from now? The answer is amazing….listen in!
