Acceptance of enrolment and course payments

BioMedical Institute of Yoga & Meditation reserves the right to refuse your enrolment.

Full course payment is required before graduation.

Upfront payments receive a discounted rate. If you choose a payment plan option, payments are due monthly.

Should you activate an automated PayPal Payment Plan, payments will be automatically taken monthly. If there are insufficient funds in your account, PayPal will attempt two more times before your plan and enrolment are automatically cancelled. Upon cancellation, access to course materials will be removed, and a subsequent payment plan shall need to be organised by contacting admin@biyome.com.au. This transfer incurs a $150 fee, and the overdue terms will apply. No monies will be refunded in this circumstance.

Payments that become overdue will incur the following overdue fees: >1-30 days $50; >31-60 days $100; >61-90 days $150, and so on. Should your course payment become overdue, access to course materials will be removed. In this case, you will need to contact admin@biyome.com.au to arrange the payment and regain access to course materials.

Your enrolment may be cancelled should a payment be late, and no refund will be given.

Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL)

We are happy to issue recognition for prior learning (RPL) should you have qualifications from other registered yoga and meditation teacher training institutions. This recognition comes at a cost of $50/50 hours of learning. Your qualifications must be in line with Yoga Australia, Yoga Alliance, or the Meditation Association of Australia’s membership criteria. All BIYOME certifications are recognised without charge.

Cancellation by the student

Should you choose to cancel your enrolment up to two weeks before the start date of the course or before the course materials have been provided to you, course fees, less the non-refundable deposit, will be refunded. Payments for and purchases of props and books are not refundable under any circumstance, including if the goods have not yet been delivered.

Refunds do not apply to CPD or short courses.

We trust it will not be necessary to part company once the course is underway. However, if a student needs to leave the course in which they are enrolled for any reason, the student will be charged for the days of training already delivered ($250 per day), whether they were in attendance or not, for classes or workshops which they attended ($128), as well as for the course materials provided online ($598).

In the case of online learning, the student will be charged for the materials and mentoring sessions (if applicable) already delivered ($598 + all monthly charges up to, and including the date of withdrawal request). No refunds will be given after 6 months, and access to content will be removed. In addition, we will retain the deposit to cover booking and cancellation costs.

In the case that a student chooses to move from face-to-face training to online training after the census date (28 days after the first face-to-face class attended inclusive of Specialty Intensive Electives and Higher Level Learning Retreats), the student will continue to be charged a full face-to-face fee and no refunds or discounts will apply.

In the case that a student chooses to move from face-to-face training to online training within 28 days of their first face-to-face class (inclusive of Specialty Intensive Electives and Higher Level Learning Retreats), the student will be charged for the days of training already delivered ($250 per day), whether they were in attendance or not, plus cancellation fee ($100).

Additional cancellation fees may apply.
