What is Samadhi?
Samadhi is the final limb of the Yogic and Buddhist paths. It comes about from a state of steady one pointed concentration that we have all experienced to some degree, at some point in our lives. It is a complete and utter absorption of the mind towards an object, of which there varying degrees.
Meditation and yoga postures (asanas) can achieve states of samadhi, or even the complete immersion in an activity where we lose the concept of space and time.
Samadhi may be described as “a feeling of deep tranquillity and sublime peace with no boundaries”.

Jasmine attended her first yoga class in 2006 which was the beginning of a lifelong dedication to the practice and study of yoga. Inspired by the profound effects of a consistent yoga practice, she began her year long teacher training with Adam and Akash Bornstein of Radiant Light Yoga in 2010, and this year completed her level 2 training with them focussing on Yoga Therapy. She teaches with honour and respect for the ancient yogic tradition with a modern twist to suit the needs of the Western body, mind and lifestyle. Jasmine encourages students to practice with both an open heart and a focused mind to experience the joy, freedom and deeper sense of connection that arise through the practice of yoga. Her daily meditation practice across the last 3 years has made her experience of yoga all the more rich. Jasmine lives and breathes yoga, and is constantly inspired by the fellow students who join her in the practice……
