“outside of the mind there are no things”
To truly understand -you must bring the Dharma (the truth) from your belly, your own breath – and not rely on someone else.
Return to the breath. All teachings are within you.
Find refuge in your True Mind.
Rather than being limited to a small self, we become the sun shining, the mountains soaring, the bubbling streams, the summer breeze blowing.
One breath allows us to become this huge clear Mind.

Is Depression Stored in the Body?
Here is an interview I did on ABC Radio last Sunday. It comments on how we recognise symptoms of depression in the body through posturing and yoga. Seemingly a hot topic, but also one that I feel should be greatly respected and also considered from all angles.
Depression affects all of us, in big ways and in small.
Our connection to others who suffer from depression can be heartbreaking.
Furthermore, we can help others through a deeper understanding our own suffering.
For those who teach and practice yoga….just passing these simple techniques on can be a huge assistance.
May yoga help our darker days. May your days be happy, and full of light.
Take care,
